Lawyer for the embattled nurse, Salomey Awity Bafoh, has informed the public that his client's bail application hearing will be conducted virtually.

According to lawyer Nana Baffour Awuah, the Accra High Court judge presiding over their bail request, today, told them their case will be heard in a virtual room, hence they have been directed to go online.

"We went to court and the court has informed us that it is going to hear...the application online. So, we are going to do the application online [virtual]", he said.

His comment comes after the court adjourned their bail application from yesterday to today, September 24.

Salomey Awity Bafoh is currently in police custody after being remanded for 2 weeks by the Adenta Circuit Court following accusations by a joint security intelligence that she has been facilitating some activities involving a social media critic called Ghana Jollof.

Ghana Jollof, according to investigations by the CID, has made some remarks suggesting she is planning a coup against the Mahama administration and Salomey is said to be abeting her.
