MP Alhassan Tampuli Sulemana hosts constituents for Iftar in Gushegu
Alhassan Tampuli Sulemana, Member of Parliament for the Gushegu Constituency, has hosted members of his constituency for an Iftar gathering as part of activities marking the holy month of Ramadan.
The event, held on Thursday in Gushegu, brought together constituents to break the day’s fast in the spirit of unity, reflection and compassion that characterise the sacred period for Muslims.
Prior to the Iftar gathering, the MP paid visits to a number of Islamic clerics who were engaging the community through teachings and exegesis of the Qur'an.
Mr. Tampuli joined the clerics and faithful in prayers and reflections, emphasising the importance of faith, community solidarity and spiritual renewal during the Ramadan period.
He also prayed for peace and blessings for the constituency and the nation, expressing the hope that Allah would accept the fasting and supplications of all believers during the holy month.
Ramadan is observed by Muslims worldwide as a period of fasting, prayer, charity and deep spiritual reflection.
