Energy Minister meets U.S. Embassy delegation to deepen bilateral cooperation
The delegation was led by Chargé d’Affaires, Rolf Olson.
During the meeting in Accra, the parties explored opportunities to deepen the longstanding partnership between Ghana and the United States, with particular focus on advancing shared priorities that promote economic growth and energy stability.
The discussions centred on enhancing cooperation in energy transition initiatives, improving power sector resilience, and supporting sustainable development goals within Ghana’s evolving energy landscape.
Dr. Jinapor reaffirmed the government’s commitment to fostering strong international partnerships that contribute to energy security and long-term sector reforms, while the U.S. delegation expressed readiness to continue supporting Ghana’s efforts in achieving a stable and sustainable energy future.
