NPA hosts maiden grand Iftar to promote unity and religious harmony
The Chief Executive of the National Petroleum Authority (NPA), Godwin Kudzo Tameklo, together with his deputies, Sheila Addo and Dramani Bukari, has joined the Muslim staff of the Authority to observe its maiden Grand Iftar.
The event, held on March 18, 2026, drew participation from both Muslim and Christian staff, highlighting a strong sense of unity, inclusiveness and mutual respect within the organisation.
Addressing participants, Mr Tameklo reaffirmed management’s commitment to creating an enabling environment that supports staff in practising their respective faiths.
He noted that religious tolerance, peaceful coexistence and unity are key to fostering harmony and improving productivity in the workplace.
The gathering provided an opportunity for staff from diverse backgrounds to interact, share a meal and strengthen professional and social bonds.
The initiative, according to management, reflects the NPA’s broader commitment to promoting an inclusive organisational culture built on diversity, respect and collective responsibility.
