NPP directs members to participate in national general cleaning exercise
The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has directed all its members to participate in the nationwide General Cleaning Exercise scheduled for Friday, July 10, and Saturday, July 11, 2026.
In a statement issued on Thursday, July 9, and signed by the party's General Secretary, Justin Kodua Frimpong, the NPP said the exercise was declared by President John Dramani Mahama.
The party noted that its Constituency Elections are scheduled for Saturday, July 11, and encouraged members to take part in the clean-up exercise immediately after casting their ballots, since voting will be conducted on a walk-in basis.
The NPP called on its members to demonstrate their commitment to environmental sanitation, civic responsibility and national development through active participation in the exercise.
