Former Dome-Kwabenya MP Sarah Adwoa Safo says the funeral date for the late Apostle Dr Kwadwo Safo Kantanka was secured with the approval of the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.
Speaking on Peace FM, she disclosed: "We went to Otumfuo to get the date."
Adwoa Safo also said she had confirmed the funeral programme with several dignitaries, including former Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, the Speaker of Parliament and the Chief of Staff.
Her comments come amid a dispute over the funeral arrangements, with her maintaining that the burial and funeral will proceed as scheduled.
