A flooded community road
Heavy overnight rain flooded parts of Sandema in the Builsa North Municipality, Upper East Region.
Overflowing drains covered sections of the Chuchuliga–Sandema road, making it hard for cars and commuters to pass. Some homes and property were also affected, and residents are checking the damage.
Officials are expected to assess the situation and give updates.
Drivers have been told to be careful on the affected roads, since more rain could make things worse.
