PROSSU urges Ghanaians to rally behind Black Stars despite abysmal friendly encounter
The Progressive Sports Supporters Union of Ghana (PROSSU) is urging Ghanaians not to give up on the Black Stars, but to keep hope alive and rally support for the team despite the recent abysmal performance in the friendly encounters.
In a statement, PROSSU emphasised the importance of continuous support for the national team, citing their potential and previous successes.
The organisation believes the Black Stars need Ghanaians' backing to overcome challenges and achieve future victories.![]()
PROSSU General Secretary, Prince Boateng, in a donation of items worth over GHS 5,000 and an undisclosed amount to Royal Seed Orphanage Home, sought God's blessings for the team to excel at the World Cup.
He encouraged Ghanaians to support the Black Stars and pray for them as they embark on their World Cup journey in Canada and the United States of America.
Nana Agyemang Prempeh, Kumasi Chapter leader, appealed to the public and Black Stars players to support the orphanage kids, some of whom are talented in football and athletics.
He promised PROSSU would provide jerseys and footballs to boost their talents. Sylvester Kumadi, a social worker at the orphanage, thanked PROSSU for the donation, saying it would positively impact the over 200 children.
He called on businesses and sports personalities like Benjamin Asare to visit and inspire the kids.
