Vice President visits families of helicopter crash victims after state burial

Vice President Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, on behalf of President John Dramani Mahama, has paid visits to the families of five victims of the August 6 military helicopter crash to console them and reaffirm the government’s support.
The visits, made on Tuesday, came just days after the state funeral held last Friday in honour of the fallen officers and men.
During the private calls, the Vice President expressed the government’s commitment to stand with the widows, children, and other dependents of the victims, assuring them that they would not be left alone in their moment of grief.
The gesture underscores the government’s pledge to continue offering both moral and practical support to the bereaved families as they cope with their loss.
