YEA board holds workshop to scale up youth employment drive
The Board of the Youth Employment Agency (YEA), led by its Chairman, Abubakari Mutiu, has commenced a high-level workshop aimed at developing strategies to surpass the Agency’s record of recruiting over 86,000 young people in the previous year.
The workshop is focused on strengthening policy direction, improving operational efficiency, and expanding job creation opportunities for young people across the country.
Addressing participants, the Board Chairman stressed the need for the Agency to continue pushing boundaries in delivering sustainable employment opportunities, despite limited resources.
He urged management and stakeholders to remain innovative, committed, and results-oriented in advancing the YEA’s core mandate of youth empowerment and job creation.
The initiative forms part of the Board’s broader efforts to enhance the Agency’s impact and ensure more young Ghanaians benefit from employment interventions nationwide
