GES transfers funds for perishable items for SHS 2 and 3 students
The Ghana Education Service (GES) has transferred funds for perishable items to the accounts of Senior High and Senior High Technical Schools across the country. The payment covers the period from March 1, 2026, to September 4, 2026, specifically for Senior High School (SHS) 2 and 3 students.
In an official letter dated July 15, 2026, the Deputy Director-General (Q & A), Dr Munawaru Issahaque, writing on behalf of the Director-General, instructed all Regional Directors of Education to notify school heads of the development.
Heads of the beneficiary Senior High and Senior High Technical Schools are reminded to issue and send official receipts of the funds to the Director-General of the GES. These receipts must be submitted through their respective Regional Accountants.
