The Member of Parliament for Ketu North Constituency in the Volta Region, Edem Agbana, has received five additional Starlink internet devices from Friends of Adaklu as part of efforts to expand digital access in schools within the constituency.

The latest donation marks the third batch of such support from the organisation, with indications that more devices are expected in the coming months.

According to the MP, the high-speed internet devices have already been installed in selected basic schools across the constituency.

Each unit comes with a 12-month free subscription, offers up to 2 terabytes of data monthly, and can connect as many as 254 computers simultaneously.

Mr. Agbana noted that the initiative forms part of a broader plan to ensure that every basic school in Ketu North gains access to computers and reliable internet connectivity, enhancing digital literacy among students.

He expressed appreciation to Friends of Adaklu, a Non Governmantal Organisation for their continued support, describing the partnership as crucial to achieving the constituency’s digital transformation goals.

The MP reaffirmed his commitment to engaging more stakeholders and partners to support the initiative, stressing that efforts to bridge the digital divide in Ketu North remain ongoing.
