Sam George qualifies as solicitor in England and Wales
Ghana’s Minister for Communication, Digital Technology and Innovations, Samuel Nartey George, has successfully completed a Master of Laws in Professional Legal Practice at the University of Law, qualifying him as a Solicitor of England and Wales.
The Minister participated in the institution’s graduation ceremony held at the Barbican Centre, marking the completion of a rigorous academic journey he began in 2023.
According to Mr. George, he completed the programme in 2025 after taking a break in 2024 due to the demands of election campaign activities.
He described the experience as a challenging undertaking, balancing academic work with his public and personal responsibilities.
“The Masters of Law in Professional Legal Practice qualifies me as a Solicitor of England and Wales,” he stated, expressing hope that his achievement would encourage others to pursue ambitions they may have postponed.
He emphasized the importance of perseverance and lifelong learning, noting that people often underestimate what they can accomplish until they take the first step.
Mr. George also expressed gratitude to his family, friends, and supporters for their encouragement throughout the programme, while giving thanks to God for helping him successfully complete the course.
