V/R: Samuel Ablakwa extends Eid greetings, announces commissioning of schools and mosques in North Tongu

Ghana’s Minister for Foreign Affairs, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has extended warm Eid al-Fitr wishes to Muslims across the country while announcing upcoming development projects in the North Tongu constituency.

In a Facebook post accompanied by photos, the minister who is also the North Tongu MP, conveyed his goodwill to the Muslim community, marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan.

“Wishing all our Muslim brothers and sisters a happy Eid al-Fitr. A special Ramadan Kareem to my beloved North Tongu,” he wrote.

Mr Ablakwa also used the opportunity to reveal that new schools and mosques constructed in Muslim communities within North Tongu are ready for commissioning.

“I am happy to announce that we are ready to commission our new schools and mosques in Muslim communities in North Tongu,” he stated, adding that the ceremonies will take place in the coming days.

The announcement underscores ongoing efforts to improve both educational infrastructure and religious facilities in the constituency, particularly in underserved communities.

The minister concluded his message with prayers for continued peace and prosperity, saying, “May Allah continue to bless our beloved North Tongu and our dear Ghana.”
