W/R: Jomoro schools win Western Regional Quiz competition
Schools in the Jomoro Constituency in the Western Region have emerged as winners of the Western Regional Quiz Competition, marking a significant achievement for the area’s education sector.
The success has been attributed in part to the support of the Member of Parliament for Jomoro and Deputy Minister of Transport, Dorcas Affo-Toffey, whose initiatives have focused on empowering students across all levels of education.
Her interventions are reported to have benefited more than 1,000 students spanning primary, Junior High Schools, Senior High Schools and tertiary institutions within the constituency.
Education stakeholders in the area say the victory reflects the impact of sustained investment in learning, as well as the dedication of students, teachers and the local education directorate.
They noted that the achievement highlights the importance of collaboration between leadership and the community in improving educational outcomes.
Residents have described the win as a collective success, expressing optimism that continued support for education will further enhance academic performance and opportunities for students in Jomoro.
