The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has released the provisional results of the 2026 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) for School Candidates.

In a statement, the Council said the results would be sent to schools through the Metropolitan, Municipal and District Directors of Education.

Candidates may also check their results online through WAEC's results portal.

WAEC advised candidates, heads of schools and other stakeholders to disregard any individual or group claiming they can upgrade examination results for a fee, stressing that its results database is secure.

The council thanked the Ministry of Education, the Ghana Education Service, security agencies, supervisors, invigilators, examiners, heads of schools and other stakeholders for their support in the successful conduct of the examination and the release of the results.
