Wa West MP sponsors mock examination for 2026 BECE candidates
The Member of Parliament for Wa West Constituency, Peter Lancehe Toobu, has sponsored a mock examination for candidates preparing for the 2026 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) in the Constituency.
The exercise, which began yesterday, forms part of efforts to help final-year Junior High School students adequately prepare for the national examination and improve academic performance across the Constituency.
The MP commended the District Director of Education, Amatus Tug-uu, and the staff of the education directorate for their dedication and support in organising the examination.
He also expressed appreciation to the District Chief Executive, Richard Wulo, for monitoring the exercise to ensure its smooth conduct.
The MP further praised teachers in the district for their commitment to shaping the academic and personal development of the students, describing teaching as a noble calling.
He extended his best wishes to all candidates participating in the mock examination and encouraged them to remain focused as they prepare for the 2026 BECE.
