GA/R: Amasaman MP inspects ongoing road peshaping projects across constituency
The Member of Parliament for Amasaman Constituency in the Greater Accra Region, Sedem Afenyo, has inspected ongoing road reshaping works being undertaken across parts of the constituency as part of efforts to improve transportation and ease movement for residents.
The road rehabilitation initiative is being carried out by the Ga West Municipal Assembly under the leadership of the Municipal Chief Executive, John Desmond Sowah Nai, in collaboration with the Member of Parliament.
During the inspection tour of various project sites, Hon. Afenyo expressed satisfaction with the progress and pace of work, describing the intervention as a critical step toward improving road accessibility within the constituency.
According to him, making roads more motorable will not only improve transportation but also stimulate economic activities, facilitate easier access to communities, and enhance the movement of people and goods.
He noted that the ongoing reshaping works are intended to provide immediate relief to residents while government and local authorities continue to pursue long-term and permanent road infrastructure solutions.
Hon. Afenyo further assured constituents of his commitment to working closely with the Municipal Assembly and other stakeholders to sustain road improvement efforts across the constituency.
He stressed that improving road infrastructure remains central to the broader development agenda for Amasaman and would contribute significantly to the socio-economic wellbeing of residents.
