The National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketia, has begun a five-day tour of the Greater Accra Region to thank party supporters and stakeholders for their continued commitment to the party.

The tour, scheduled from Monday, March 9 to Friday, March 13, 2026, forms part of the party’s broader engagement with its grassroots base across the country.

According to the NDC, the Thank You Tour is aimed at expressing appreciation to party members, activists and sympathisers for their dedication and support for the party’s programmes and activities.

During the tour, Mr. Asiedu Nketia is expected to meet with regional and constituency executives, grassroots organisers and other stakeholders to strengthen party unity and encourage continued mobilisation within the region.

Party officials say the engagements will also provide an opportunity for the national leadership to interact directly with members, listen to their concerns and discuss strategies for sustaining the party’s growth.

The Greater Accra leg of the tour is expected to feature meetings and interactions with supporters across several constituencies in the region.

The NDC leadership says the initiative underscores the party’s commitment to maintaining strong relationships with its base while acknowledging the role supporters continue to play in advancing its political agenda.
