Fifi Boafo donates food items to Tarkwa Central Mosque to support Muslims during Ramadan
Fifi Boafo, former spokesperson for COCOBOD, has donated assorted food items to the Tarkwa Central Mosque in the Tarkwa Nsuaem Constituency of the Western Region to support members of the Muslim communities observing Ramadan.
The items, which included bags of rice, cooking oil, canned fish, Milo, sugar and milk, were presented for distribution among Muslims in the municipality as they observe the sacred period of fasting and prayer.
Mr. Boafo said the gesture forms part of an annual initiative he undertakes to support the Muslim community during Ramadan.
According to him, the holy month serves as a reminder of important values such as discipline, compassion, humility and generosity towards others.
He also prayed for good health and the resources to continue supporting the community in the years ahead.
Mr. Boafo further extended his best wishes to Muslims observing the fast, greeting them with the message “Ramadan Mubarak.”
