A lawyer, Faisal Ibrahim Cisse, a former Personal Assistant to the immediate past Cheif Executive Officer of (CEO) of National Petroleum Authority (NPA) has declared his intention to contest for the position of Constituency Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Korle Klottey Constituency of the Greater Accra Region.

Mr Cisse made his ambition known with the campaign flyers splash on social media with the inscription, “Korle Klottey will work again,” signalling his commitment to revitalising party structures and strengthening grassroots mobilisation within the constituency.

Although details of his policy direction are yet to be fully outlined, his bid is expected to form part of the party’s internal reorganisation efforts ahead of future elections in 2028.

Party insiders say the contest for constituency leadership positions is likely to intensify as the NPP prepares to rebuild and reposition itself politically.

Mr Cisse is expected to engage party delegates and stakeholders in the coming weeks as he seeks support for his candidacy.
