Residents of the Otamens Electoral Area in the Awutu Senya East municipality of the Central Region are expected to experience improved transportation and easier movement following the completion of two separate culverts and their approach fillings within the community.

The project, undertaken as part of efforts to improve road connectivity in the municipality, was carried out in collaboration with the Member of Parliament for Awutu Senya East Constituency, Phillis Naa Koryoo Okunor and the Assembly.

According to Seth Banini; the Muncipal Chief Executive, the  intervention has opened up an inner access route that had reportedly remained inaccessible for more than 30 years, bringing relief to residents and commuters in the area.

The completed works are expected to significantly reduce transportation challenges and make movement within the community more convenient and less stressful.

Authorities indicated that the project forms part of commitments made following a community needs assessment and campaign promises to residents of the electoral area.

The MCE during an inspection of the project assured residents of continued efforts to deliver development projects aimed at improving infrastructure and enhancing the living conditions of people within the municipality.
