GFL Secretary-General praises current leadership, urges continuity
Mr Abraham Koomson, Secretary-General of the Ghana Federation of Labour, has expressed admiration for the current leadership of the country, saying he hopes it will continue for some time.
According to him, poor leadership remains one of the major challenges confronting many countries across the world, and Ghana is fortunate to have what he described as responsible leadership at present.
Mr. Koomson made the remarks while speaking on Ahotor FM on Saturday, March 7.
He cautioned that the country could face serious challenges if leadership is handed over to individuals who lack the capacity and competence to govern effectively.
The labour leader also noted that there is a noticeable difference between the current administration led by John Dramani Mahama and the previous government under Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
Mr. Koomson said the current President is governing with humility and a stronger sense of leadership.
“I wish the leadership currently handling Ghana would continue for a while before it is eventually handed over to an even better leadership,” he stated.
