Nii Amasah Namoale presents credentials as Ghana’s High Commissioner to Guyana
Ghana’s newly appointed High Commissioner to Guyana, Nii Amasah Namoale, has officially presented his Letters of Commission to the President of the Cooperative Republic of Guyana, marking the formal commencement of his diplomatic mission.
The presentation ceremony took place at the State House in Georgetown on March 17, 2026.
Mr Namoale conveyed the credentials on behalf of President John Dramani Mahama, who appointed him to represent Ghana in Guyana and strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries.
The ceremony signifies Ghana’s continued commitment to enhancing diplomatic ties and cooperation with Guyana, particularly in areas of mutual interest such as trade, investment and cultural exchange.
As High Commissioner, Mr Namoale is expected to work closely with authorities in Guyana to deepen collaboration and advance shared development goals
