Tamale North MP hosts Iftar with party communicators
The Member of Parliament for Tamale North Constituency, Alhassan Suhuyini, has hosted an Iftar gathering with party communicators in the Northern Region as part of efforts to strengthen unity and engagement within the party.
Mr. Suhuyini explained that the Iftar initiative, which began a few years ago, was conceived to promote togetherness and solidarity among members and supporters.
Quoting an African proverb, he noted that such gatherings are not merely about providing food but about fostering stronger bonds among people who share common values and goals.
“A man who calls his kinsmen to a feast does not do so to save them from starving.
They all have food in their own homes. We come together because it is good for kinsmen to do so,” he said.
The event, held on Sunday night, brought together communicators from the Northern Region, whom the MP described as key contributors to the party’s communication efforts.
Mr. Suhuyini expressed appreciation to the communicators for their participation and dedication, noting that the gathering provided an opportunity to interact, share ideas and reinforce camaraderie among party members.
He described the evening as productive and thanked participants for making time to attend the event.
