CAF appoints Cameroonian match officials for Ghana v Uganda U-20 Qualifier
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has named Cameroonian referee Aline Marie Noelle Guimbang A Etong to officiate the high-stakes FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup qualifier between Ghana and Uganda.
Guimbang A Etong will lead an all-female officiating team for the final round encounter. She will be supported by Carine Atezambong Fomo (Cameroon) as Assistant Referee I and Mireille Kanjinga Mujanay (DR Congo) as Assistant Referee II. Innocentia Njang Ntangti, also from Cameroon, has been appointed as the Fourth Official.
The administrative oversight for the match will be handled by:
- Match Commissioner: Sainabou Cham (The Gambia)
- Referee Assessor: Latré-Kayi Edzona Lawson-Hogban (Togo)
The Black Princesses of Ghana are scheduled to host the Ugandan side at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, May 3, 2026. This fixture represents the final hurdle for both teams in their quest to secure a spot at the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.
