Real Madrid sign Ghanaian teenager Clifford Nana
Real Madrid have signed 16-year-old Ghanaian winger Clifford Nana.
The youngster joins the Spanish club after previously spending time in Barcelona's La Masia academy, making a move that has attracted attention due to the rivalry between the two clubs.
Nana, who left Barcelona's youth system in 2023, has continued his development and will now join Real Madrid's academy setup at Valdebebas.
The move reflects Real Madrid's ongoing focus on recruiting young talent from different parts of the world as part of its long-term development strategy.
The winger is regarded as a versatile attacking player capable of operating on either flank. He is known for his pace, dribbling ability and willingness to take on defenders in one-on-one situations.
His progress will now be closely followed as he continues his development within one of Europe's most established youth systems.
Nana's move also adds to the growing number of Ghanaian players joining top academies across Europe, highlighting the increasing visibility of young talent from the country on the international stage.
At 16, the Ghanaian begins the next phase of his development with Real Madrid as he works towards a professional career.
