Semenyo sits second on Ghana's all-time EPL goal contributions list
Antoine Semenyo's assist in Manchester City's 1-0 win over Coventry in the English Premier League on the weekend did more than help his side collect three points — it moved him into second place on the all-time list of Ghanaian players with the most goal contributions in the competition's history.
The 26-year-old's assist brought his overall tally to 50 goal contributions, placing him behind only Jordan Ayew, who tops the list with 60. What stands out is the gap in efficiency: Ayew has needed almost 100 more Premier League appearances than Semenyo to reach his tally.
Semenyo has yet to find the net himself this season, but two assists in three appearances suggest he remains heavily involved in his side's attacking output early in the campaign.
