Sevilla agree deal to sign Ghanaian winger Emmanuel Abrokwa
Spanish club Sevilla have reached an agreement to sign Ghanaian youngster Emmanuel Abrokwa from lower-tier side Adabraka Elders.
The 18-year-old winger is expected to sign a contract with the La Liga club that will keep him at Sevilla until 2029.
Once the move is completed, Abrokwa will become the first Ghanaian player to join Sevilla directly from a club in Ghana.
The youngster previously featured for Peace Boys before joining Adabraka Elders, where his performances attracted the attention of the Spanish outfit.
The transfer was facilitated by his representatives, Daniel Boifio Junior and Jorge Garcia of SBE Management.
Sevilla are expected to complete the remaining formalities before officially announcing the signing.
The move marks another milestone in Abrokwa's career and reflects the growing opportunities for players in Ghana's domestic football system to secure transfers to top European clubs.
