First National Bank’s Investment Gift Cards out now to give Ghanaians a new way to gift a brighter future
First National Bank Ghana has officially announced the availability of its groundbreaking Investment Gift Cards, a first-of-its-kind gifting solution designed to transform the way Ghanaians celebrate life's special moments while building lasting financial wealth.
To celebrate the launch and demonstrate the product's unique value proposition, First National Bank Ghana recently partnered with two of Ghana's most popular radio programmes, The Drive on Joy FM and Brunch in the Citi on Citi FM, where listeners participated in engaging educational quizzes focused on gifting, investing and how the investment gift cards work.
The innovative product allows both customers and non-customers to purchase a gift that does not lose value over time but has the potential to grow through investment. With the Investment Gift Card, gift-giving is elevated from a fleeting moment of excitement to a lasting act of financial empowerment.
"The best gifts are the ones that remain fondly in our hearts years after they are received," said Akweley Laryea, Head of Retail Banking at First National Bank Ghana. "We asked ourselves a simple question: what if we could help people gift more than just a moment? The result is the First National Bank Investment Gift Card, a meaningful innovation that allows people to invest in the future of those they care about."
Unlike traditional gifts that may depreciate over time, the First National Bank Investment Gift Card provides recipients with an opportunity to grow their gift through investment, while encouraging a culture of saving and wealth creation.
The cards are ideal for a wide range of occasions including birthdays, weddings, bridal showers, baby showers, graduations, anniversaries, employee recognition, religious celebrations and other important milestones. Whether gifted to a loved one, colleague, student, newly married couple or a newborn child, the card sends a powerful message: "I believe in your future."
The Investment Gift Cards are now available in denominations of GHS 2,000, GHS 5,000 and GHS 10,000, with flexible options that allow purchasers to choose an amount that suits their needs and budget. Importantly, both customers and non-customers of First National Bank Ghana can purchase or receive the cards.
“As Ghana continues to embrace financial innovation, First National Bank Ghana remains committed to creating products that help individuals, families and communities build sustainable wealth for generations”, Akweley concluded.
