GRA to launch “Tax Connect” radio programme to engage public
The initiative will feature live sessions where officials of the Authority respond to questions from listeners in real time, offering clarification on tax policies, procedures, compliance requirements, and other revenue matters affecting individuals and businesses.
According to the GRA, the programme is aimed at improving tax education, deepening public understanding of Ghana’s tax system, and strengthening voluntary compliance through open engagement with citizens.
Tax Connect is expected to be rolled out across selected radio stations nationwide, allowing a wide cross-section of the public to participate by calling in and seeking answers to their concerns directly from revenue officials.
The Authority believes the initiative will help bridge information gaps, reduce misinformation about taxation, and build trust between taxpayers and the state.
By bringing tax experts to the airwaves, the GRA hopes to make tax education more accessible, practical, and responsive to the everyday concerns of Ghanaians.
