NEIP CEO meets grant committee on entrepreneur selection process
The Chief Executive Officer of the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme, Eric Adjei, has met with the programme’s 13-member Grant Management Committee to receive an update on the ongoing selection process for entrepreneurs seeking support under the initiative.
The meeting followed a series of nationwide pitching sessions held to identify promising startups and businesses across the country.
Mr. Adjei said the engagement allowed him to personally assess the transition from the field evaluation stage to the final assessment phase, as the committee works to determine which entrepreneurs will benefit from the programme.
According to him, the committee reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring a transparent and fair process in selecting high-impact businesses that will receive support.
He commended members of the committee for their dedication and professionalism throughout the process and expressed optimism that the final report would be submitted by the end of the week.
The NEIP is a government initiative aimed at supporting entrepreneurship and innovation by providing funding, training and mentorship to startups and small businesses in Ghana.
