'I don't eat anything after 5 PM': Okyeame Kwame credits youthful looks to smart eating and shares hacks
Hiplife legend Okyeame Kwame says his youthful appearance is no accident—it comes from disciplined eating and a healthy lifestyle.
Speaking on Channel One TV’s Face to Face on Tuesday, April 7, the artiste highlighted the role of his diet in keeping him looking and feeling great.
“I think it is a lot of water, I eat a lot of plants, I eat a lot of fibre, food that is kind on my intestines. I don’t eat anything after 5pm,” he shared.
Okyeame Kwame also offered insight into managing cravings, explaining that what many mistake for hunger is often just a signal for a treat.
“Usually that feeling you get of hunger is just craving. So if you fill your stomach with warm water, dark chocolate in the evening and you sleep, your stomach might think that you are actually full because you are so used to eating something hot that sometimes you get the cravings and you think you are hungry. That signal could be conflicting,” he said.
The rapper, who turns 50 on April 17, has long been admired for his youthful looks and fitness, attributing it all to consistent lifestyle choices and mindful eating.
