Tonto Dikeh reveals past involvement in cults, credits faith for transformation
Nigerian actress and philanthropist Tonto Dikeh has opened up about her past involvement in multiple cults, admitting she “worked for the demon so hard.”
Speaking at the Women of Fire prayer conference in Tanzania, Dikeh did not name the cults but expressed regret over her actions, describing them as putting her hands in “filth.” She said her involvement was part of her attempt to “navigate life” in a “wicked world.”
Reflecting on her spiritual journey, Dikeh stated that she knows the demon she once served intimately but is confident that he no longer has power over her.
She affirmed her faith and repentance, saying, “And today, God said no, mercy said no. I’ll take you back and clean you up.”
Dikeh also revealed that God has a plan for her to use her life for a greater purpose. She highlighted her conviction that God intends to put her on his “altars to preach his Gospel”.
Encouraging her audience to lead exemplary lives, she added, “You are the only Bible some people will ever get to read.”
