Mike Eghan: Broadcast icon passes

Iconic Ghanaian broadcaster Mike Eghan has died.
Affectionately called The Magnificent Emperor, his celebrated career saw him perform as a disc jockey (DJ) and radio presenter covered 60 years.
He worked for the national broadcaster, Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC), Accra, Ghana, and for the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) World Service, London, United Kingdom.
He is said to have passed on Thursday morning, June 5, 2025. The cause of his death is not immediately known.
