Ghanaian musician Odeku La has stated that he intends to live a disciplined life and eventually get married in order to respect Ghanaian culture and set a good example for the young people who follow his music and lifestyle.

Speaking in an interview on Ayeekoo Ayeekoo mid-morning show on Accra 100.5 FM, hosted by Docta Kay Nie, the artist explained that many young fans look up to him, so he wants to carry himself responsibly both in his music and personal life.

According to Odeku La, he sees music as a serious profession and a business, not just entertainment.

Because of this, he believes his attitude and conduct must reflect maturity and respect for cultural values.

He added that he wants to live in a way that earns the trust of families and society.

The musician said he hopes to build a reputation where parents would feel comfortable giving their daughters to him in marriage.

“I know there are young ones who follow me and my lifestyle, so I have to respect the culture and take my music seriously as a business and a job,” he said during the interview.

Odeku La noted that marriage is something he plans to embrace in the future as part of showing respect for tradition and maintaining a responsible public image.
