Ghanaian Afropop star Wendy Shay has earned seven nominations at the Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA), marking a major achievement in her music career.

The singer is competing in some of the biggest categories of the awards scheme, including Artist of the Year and Album of the Year, which recognise the most outstanding performers and projects in the Ghanaian music industry.

Wendy Shay also received nominations for Afrobeats Song of the Year and Afrobeats/Afropop Artiste of the Year, reflecting the strong influence she continues to have in the Afrobeats and Afropop genres.

Her collaborative works have also gained recognition, earning her nominations for International Collaboration of the Year and Collaboration of the Year.

Completing her list of nominations is Most Popular Song of the Year, a category that celebrates songs that have enjoyed massive public support during the year.
