Afiaman family resolves chieftaincy dispute at royal palace meeting
Members of the Afiaman family of the Mantse Ankrah Division of Otublohum in the Greater Accra Region have successfully resolved a misunderstanding relating to chieftaincy matters following a mediation meeting held at the Mantse Ankrah Royal Palace in North Kaneshie.
The meeting brought together representatives of the Ankrah family, Nii Kpakpo Oti, and Amponsah Halley families at the invitation of the Divisional Chief, Nii Okanta Ankrah II, to deliberate on the issues and restore unity within the family.
Discussions focused on addressing internal disagreements and strengthening cooperation among the various family factions under the traditional leadership structure.
At the end of the engagement, the parties reportedly reached an amicable settlement, bringing closure to the misunderstanding.
The resolution was welcomed by Nii Okanta Ankrah II as a positive step toward maintaining peace and stability within the traditional area, with all sides committing to continued dialogue and harmony going forward.![]()
