Abraham Aidoo to organise massive clean-up exercise in Kpone Katamanso
Residents of Kpone Katamansoin the Greater Accra Region are set to participate in a massive constituency-wide clean-up exercise scheduled for Saturday, May 23, 2026, as part of efforts to improve sanitation and environmental cleanliness in the area.
The initiative, being spearheaded by Abraham Aidoo, the aspiring indepdependent parliamentary candidate will take place across all zones within the constituency beginning at 9:00 a.m.
According to the organisers, the exercise is aimed at promoting a cleaner, healthier, and safer environment while encouraging greater community participation in local development efforts.
The clean-up campaign is expected to focus on clearing choked gutters, cleaning streets, improving sanitation conditions, and beautifying communities across the constituency.
Organisers have called on youth groups, women’s groups, Assembly Members, party executives, traders, drivers, community leaders, and residents to actively participate in the exercise.
Speaking ahead of the event, Bishop Abraham Aidoo stressed the importance of collective responsibility in maintaining clean communities, noting that environmental cleanliness plays a key role in protecting public health and supporting development.
He urged residents to come out in large numbers to support the initiative and contribute toward building a cleaner and more resilient Kpone Katamanso.
The exercise forms part of ongoing community-driven efforts to improve sanitation and promote civic responsibility within the constituency.
