LaDMA inspects road projects at Tse Addo and La Beach Road areas
The La Dade-Kotopon Municipal Assembly (LaDMA) in the Greater Accra Region has conducted an inspection tour of ongoing road projects at Tse Addo and the La Beach Road areas as part of efforts to monitor progress and ensure quality delivery of infrastructure works within the municipality.
The inspection team was led by the Municipal Chief Executive, Mr. Alfredos Nii Anyetei, and included Assembly officials, engineers, Assembly Members, and members of the media.
The exercise focused on assessing the quality of work, tracking project timelines, and ensuring contractors comply with approved specifications.
At Tse Addo, the team inspected ongoing patching works aimed at repairing deteriorated sections of the road network.
The MCE expressed satisfaction with the pace of work but emphasized the need for contractors to maintain high standards and meet project deadlines.
The inspection team later moved to the La Beach Road project, where works on drainage systems, earthworks, and road surfacing are currently underway.
Hon. Anyetei stressed that adherence to engineering standards remains critical to ensuring the durability and long-term sustainability of the roads.
Speaking briefly to the media, the MCE assured residents that road infrastructure improvement remains a major priority for the Assembly.
He appealed to the public to remain patient and cooperate with contractors as construction activities continue across the municipality.
According to the Assembly, both projects are progressing steadily, with contractors directed to ensure timely and smooth completion of the works.
