GA/R: Fire at Tema Monte Carlo commercial area
A fierce commercial fire has broken out at Tema Community 6, in the Monte Carlo area, with emergency response teams currently battling to bring the situation under control.
According to the Public Relations Officer of the Ghana National Fire Service, Alex King Nartey, four fire tenders have been dispatched to the scene to contain the blaze.
The fire, which is affecting a commercial enclave, has triggered a rapid response from firefighters as efforts intensify to prevent it from spreading to adjoining properties.
Authorities are yet to confirm the cause of the fire or assess the extent of damage. Emergency crews remain on-site working to contain the situation.
