Asantehene urges Roads Minister to prioritise action on infrastructure projects
The Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, has urged the Minister for Roads and Highways, Kwame Governs Agbodza, to remain focused on delivering critical infrastructure projects despite public commentary and criticism.
Speaking during an engagement at Manhyia Palace during a courtesy call by some government delegation led by the Ashnati Regional Minister, Dr Frandk Amoakohene, the revered traditional ruler encouraged the Minister to prioritise tangible results, stressing the importance of action over rhetorics.
“Continue building while others continue talking,” the Asantehene advised, underscoring the need for sustained commitment to road development.
The remarks come amid ongoing efforts by the Roads Ministry to advance key infrastructure projects across the country, including major highways and urban road networks aimed at improving mobility and boosting economic activity.
The Asantehene’s comments are seen as a strong endorsement of the government’s infrastructure drive and a call for accelerated execution of projects to meet the needs of the public.
