The Metropolitan Archbishop of Cape Coast, Gabriel Charles Palmer-Buckle, has paid a pastoral visit to the Apam Parish in the Gomoa West area, where he presided over a confirmation service for 30 young Catholics.

The visit, held on Sunday, May 31, 2026, brought together members of the Roman Catholic community, local leaders, and parishioners in a celebration of faith and spiritual renewal.

During the event, appreciation was expressed for the Archbishop’s visit and for the continued contribution of the Catholic Church to national development, particularly in the areas of faith formation, education, and healthcare delivery.

The occasion was described as a moment of inspiration and unity for the Catholic faithful, with prayers offered for peace, hope, and strengthened commitment to Christian values within the community.

The confirmation ceremony marked an important milestone in the spiritual journey of the 30 young Catholics, who publicly affirmed their faith before the congregation.
