Ghana Airports Company Limited announces partial road closure at Terminal 2 departure frontage
Ghana Airports Company Limited (GACL) has announced a temporary partial road closure at the Terminal 2 departure frontage as part of ongoing construction works at the facility.
According to a public notice issued by the company, a section of the road in front of the Terminal 2 departure hall will be closed from Monday, May 11, 2026.
GACL said the closure is to allow for safe refitting works on the frontage and facade of Terminal 2 and is expected to last for one month.
The company noted that during the period, the affected road section will be inaccessible to both vehicles and pedestrians.
To minimise disruption, GACL indicated that directional signage and traffic management personnel will be deployed on-site to guide commuters and ensure smooth movement.
Management of the company expressed regret over any inconvenience caused and appealed to the travelling public for cooperation while the works are carried out.
