The Ghana High Commission in Ottawa has asked all CAP 30 pensioners and beneficiaries living in Canada to take part in a validation exercise to update and confirm their pension records.

In a public notice issued on August 5, 2026, the High Commission said the exercise is being carried out by the Controller and Accountant-General's Department (CAGD).

It explained that the exercise is meant to ensure pension records are accurate, improve the management of the CAP 30 Pension Scheme, and help maintain an updated database of pensioners and beneficiaries.

The exercise will run from August 3 to August 28, 2026, excluding weekends and public holidays.

All affected pensioners and beneficiaries are required to visit the Ghana High Commission in Ottawa in person to complete the process.

They must bring copies of the following documents:

- Pensioner's ID

- Pension Advice

- Pension Form 1

Widows and guardians must also present the birth certificates of any minor beneficiaries under their care.

The High Commission urged all affected persons to complete the exercise within the stated period to avoid any interruption in the payment of their monthly pensions.
