The Deputy Minister of Education Dr. Clement Abas Apaak, has launched the revised Complementary Basic Education (CBE) curriculum, aimed at providing a second chance for out-of-school children to access quality education.
The curriculum aligns with Ghana's standards-based curriculum and integrates lessons from the Ghana Learning Early Grade Programme.
The launch event, attended by representatives from the Ministry of Education, development partners, and stakeholders, emphasised the importance of inclusive education and the need to strengthen foundational learning across all levels of the educational system.
The revised curriculum targets children between 8 and 16 years old, focusing on foundational literacy, numeracy, and life skills delivered in their mother tongue.
