Zimbabwean President concludes state visit to Ghana
The President of the Republic of Zimbabwe, Emmerson D. Mnangagwa, has departed Accra following the successful conclusion of his State Visit to Ghana.
President Mnangagwa left the country on Friday, April 3, 2026, after a series of engagements aimed at strengthening bilateral relations between Ghana and Zimbabwe.
As part of his final activities before departure, he paid a visit to the Sweden Ghana Medical Centre, where he was briefed on healthcare delivery and medical infrastructure.
The visit also saw the signing of several Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) between the two countries.
Relevant institutions on both sides are expected to begin implementing these agreements to deepen cooperation and enhance diplomatic, economic, and social ties.
The State Visit is seen as a significant step toward fostering stronger interaction and collaboration between Ghana and Zimbabwe.
