NEIP launches SEED to support student entrepreneurs
The National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (NEIP) is set to officially launch its SEED Programme today, aimed at nurturing the next generation of entrepreneurs from Ghana’s tertiary institutions.
The initiative is designed to equip students with essential resources, mentorship and support systems needed to transform innovative ideas into viable businesses.
According to the Chief Executive Officer, Eric Adjei, the programme reflects growing optimism about the potential of young entrepreneurs to drive Ghana’s economic resilience and industrial growth.
'It is expected to play a key role in developing a strong pipeline of business leaders capable of contributing to national development.
He emphasised that investing in student entrepreneurs today will help secure a more robust and sustainable entrepreneurial ecosystem in the future.
The SEED Programme will provide participants with training, guidance and opportunities to scale their ventures, with the ultimate goal of transitioning them into successful business owners.
The launch will be held at UPSA will mark a significant step in efforts to promote entrepreneurship and innovation among the youth, as Ghana continues to position itself for long-term economic transformation.
