Ghanaian businesswoman says meat pie sales funded her G-Wagon
Gifty Brown, the CEO of Cooker’s Delight, has opened up about her journey to success and how her food business supports her luxurious lifestyle.
In an interview with blogger ZionFelix, she revealed that her wealth—particularly her luxury vehicle—was fully financed through pastry sales.
According to her, meat pies played a major role in making that possible.
“It’s the meat pies that paid for my G-Wagon,” she explained.
She went on to describe how her business has grown into a thriving food enterprise, serving both high-profile clients and everyday Ghanaians.
“In the past, I could only sell about four or five pies a day. Now, I sell around 500 pieces daily, and that’s even without taking special orders,” she said.
Gifty added that many banks and companies frequently buy from her restaurant, keeping it busy every day.
“The place is always full. Even on Sundays, there’s usually a long queue,” she noted.
She also disclosed that her meat pies are priced between GHS15 and GHS20, while her menu has expanded to include a variety of meals beyond pastries.
Although her business now offers more than just pies, she stressed that the money used to purchase her luxury car came strictly from meat pie sales.
“We sell other food too, but the G-Wagon is purely from pie money,” she said.
