Mahama: No community will be left behind in national reset agenda
President John Dramani Mahama has assured that no community in Ghana will be excluded from the government’s development plans under its national reset agenda.
Delivering his Eid-ul-Adha address to the nation at the Independence Square on Wednesday, May 27, he said “No community will be left behind in this national reset agenda.”
President Mahama noted that the government’s focus remains on creating jobs, supporting local enterprises, expanding opportunities for young people and improving the living conditions of ordinary Ghanaians.
President Mahama said key policy interventions such as the 24-Hour Economy initiative, skills development programmes, apprenticeship schemes and the industrial transformation agenda are designed to create sustainable employment opportunities for the youth.
He emphasised that these efforts form part of a broader national reset agenda aimed at inclusive growth, stressing that no community will be left behind.
“There are signs or recovery and Ghana has renewed hope .Our focus now remains on creating jobs supporting local enterprises, expanding opportunities for young people and improving living conditions for ordinary Ghanaians. through our 24-Hour Economy policy, skill development initiatives, apprenticeship programmes and industrial transformation agenda, we aim to create sustainable employment opportunities for our youth.”
